Is there a lot of parent involvement?

Little Athletics is ran solely by volunteers so yes some parent involvement is definitely required. This is how we keep this sport one of the most affordable around.

For competition day our clubs are each designated a site or two to share the load between everyone.

Clubs will then put parents onto a roster so everyone helps out on site. ALL parents or guardians must help on site. If you are a guardian/grandparent etc you will need a working with children's check - please chat with us if you need any help with this.

The sites usually take between 10-20mins.

If you're just starting out with Little Athletics, we understand that taking the first step to get involved might seem daunting. However, rest assured that not every position demands specific expertise or understanding. Plenty of individuals will be available to offer assistance and direction. It's important to recognize the significant impact you can make as a role model, influencing your child's lasting engagement and delight in our sport.
